 ME Legal Module

Florida Certified Building Official Examination consist of three modules. ME Legal is one of those three modules. 

Our Florida ME Legal Module Exam Prep Course provides the most effective training available to prepare you for your Certification Exam.   

The ME Legal Module Certification Exam consists of 75 multiple-choice questions. It is an open book exam with a 2-hour time limit.

The questions are based on the following books:

• 2021 International Building Code 
• 2021 International Fire Code 
• 2021 International Property Maintenance Code
• Building Department Administration, 5th Ed.
• 2017 Legal Aspects of Code Administration
• Human Resources Management for Public and Nonprofit Organizations: A Strategic Approach, 4th Ed.
  

Effective July 1, 2025, the National Certification Examinations will be based on 2021 International Codes
